As part of our repair work, we regularly have Tesla donor cars in stock. They are also how we often avoid waiting for parts, as on our recent Model S coolant leak repair, where the correct bolts came from one of our parts cars.
At the time of writing, we have two donor cars available for parts: a Tesla Model X 100D and a Tesla Model S 85D. Stock changes as parts are used, so please ask before you plan around a particular part.
Tesla Model X 100D
The Model X has front left damage, but many good parts are still available. Most other parts can be supplied, subject to inspection, including:
- carbon interior trim
- rear panels and the tailgate
- doors
- drivetrain components
- electrical components
The following Model X parts are not available:
- the HV battery pack, which is reserved for a customer
- all airbags
- the windscreen
- the front bumper
- front left corner components and body panels
- the air suspension struts
Tesla Model S 85D
The Model S has already been partly dismantled. What you see in the photo is what remains, plus a rear bumper. There are still good parts available, including:
- black leather seats
- interior trim
- rear suspension components
- drivetrain components
- electrical modules
- various mechanical and body parts
How to ask for a part
If you are looking for a part for a Tesla Model S or Model X, please email info@megamotorrepairs.co.uk with what you need and, ideally, your car's VIN or specification. That lets us check that the part is the right one for your car.
Email is the best way to reach us about parts, as we are not able to reply to parts requests on Facebook Messenger.
